ACTION FUND OF SACEM

The Action Fund of SACEM, (the Society of Authors, Composers and Music Publishers in France) has given financial assistance to the publication of the book Le Jeu Incessant de Daniel Humair (The Ceasless Playing of Daniel Humair).

By giving help to all kinds of musical creativity, without favouring one genre over another, the Action Fund of SACEM pursues a policy of diversified patronage. It plays an advisory role to the sponsors of every project it supports.

Daniel Humair deserved the full attention and assistance of SACEM Action Fund.

As well as being renowned as one of the best drummers in the world, Daniel Humair is well-known as a painter.

The objectives of Action Fund of SACEM are :

• To foster the formation of new audiences, amongst children and young people, for classical music, jazz and new music

• To commission new works from composers

• To promote original music for films

• To contribute to the promotion of new young talent in Jazz

• To support the production of audio-visual art with music

• To promote French artists and repertoire
