Maison indépendante et autonome créée en septembre 2003 à l'initiative d'un musicien, les Editions DELATOUR FRANCE entretiennent un rapport privilégié avec leurs auteurs, compositeurs, musiciens et illustrateurs.

En quatre ans, elles ont développé un catalogue varié comprenant déjà plus de 1500 ouvrages répartis entre littérature musicale et générale, partitions, méthodes, disques et supports multimédias.

Des personnalités influentes du monde musical comme Piotr MOSS, André ISOIR, Louis-Noël BELAUBRE, Jacques BONDON, Jean-Jacques WERNER, Noël LEE, Anthony GIRARD, Lionel ROGG ou Jean-Claude BAERTSOEN leur ont fait confiance depuis leur création, rejointes aujourd'hui par d'autres auteurs talentueux tels Jean-Philippe BEC, Nicolas BACRI, Serge DELAITE et Jean-Marc LAJUDIE, Marie-Claire et Olivier ALAIN, Gilles SILVESTRINI, Pierre PINCEMAILLE, Didier RENOUVIN, Isabelle ABOULKER ou David DUPIRE.

Les Editions DELATOUR FRANCE, bien que soutenant majoritairement des œuvres qui nous sont contemporaines, se sont donné pour mission la mise en valeur du patrimoine artistique national et international. Aidées dans cette tâche par le travail et le dynamisme de ses directeurs de collections, elles se sont attachées à la publication en première mondiale d'œuvres oubliées ou inédites (Jeanne DEMESSIEUX, Joseph-Ermend BONNAL, Ferdinand HILLER, Charles GOUNOD …).

Pour répondre à la demande croissante du jeune public et satisfaire le marché mondial, la majorité de leurs publications sont également commercialisées en téléchargement légal sur son site internet, à des tarifs attractifs.

Pour faciliter l'approche et la découverte d'œuvres originales, les Editions DELATOUR FRANCE encouragent les compositeurs et les interprètes en joignant un enregistrement audio, parfois vidéo, aux publications écrites à chaque fois que c'est possible. L'ouverture en 2005 d'un département de production audiovisuel, conforte et soutient cette démarche.

Une nouvelle collection d'ouvrages en co-édition avec l'IRCAM (Centre Georges Pompidou) a vu le jour début 2006, dans un esprit de soutient et d'aide à la diffusion active des travaux scientifiques touchant les arts sonores, nationaux et internationaux.

Un accent a également été mis sur la publication d'ouvrages à utilité pédagogique en 2006 à travers différentes collections, complétant ainsi l'équilibre éditorial de la ligne musicale.

Das unabhängige Verlagshaus Delatour-France wurde im September 2003 auf Initiative eines Musikers gegründet und arbeitet eng mit seinen Autoren, Komponisten, Musikern und Illustratoren zusammen.

Innerhalb von vier Jahren haben wir ein abwechslungsreiches Programm entwickelt, das bereits über 1500 Werke enthält: Musikliteratur, allgemeine Literatur, Noten, Lehrbücher, CDs und Multimediaträger.

Einflussreiche Persönlichkeiten aus der Musikwelt, darunter Piotr Moss, André Isoir, Louis-Noël Belaubre, Jacques Bondon, Jean-Jacques Werner, Noël Lee, Anthony Girard, Lionel Rogg oder Jean-Claude Baertsoen vertrauen uns schon seit der Entstehung des Verlags. Weitere talentierte Autoren sind seither dazugekommen, so Jean-Philippe Bec, Nicolas Bacri, Serge Delaite und Jean-Marc Lajudie, Marie-Claire und Olivier Alain, Gilles Silvestrini, Pierre Pincemaille, Didier Renouvin, Isabelle Aboulker oder David Dupire.

Der Delatour-France-Verlag unterstützt zwar vorwiegend zeitgenössische Werke, doch wir haben uns auch zum Ziel gesetzt, das nationale und internationale Kulturgut aufzuwerten. Dazu tragen die Leiter unserer verschiedenen Reihen mit ihrer Arbeit und ihrer Dynamik bei. Wir setzen viel daran, vergessenen oder nie veröffentlichten Werken zur Weltpremiere zu verhelfen (Jeanne Demessieux, Joseph-Ermend Bonnal, Ferdinand Hiller, Charles Gounod...).

Um die steigende Nachfrage der jüngeren Generation und auch den internationalen Markt zu bedienen, werden die Veröffentlichungen zum Großteil auch als legale Downloads zu attraktiven Preisen auf unserer Website vertrieben.

Zur leichteren Annäherung an Originalwerke und zu ihrer Erkundung ermutigt der Delatour-France-Verlag die Komponisten und Interpreten, indem jeder schriftlichen Veröffentlichung soweit möglich eine Audio- bzw. manchmal auch eine Video-Aufnahme beigefügt wird. Die Gründung einer Abteilung für audiovisuelle Produktion im Jahr 2005 bestärkt und unterstützt diesen Ansatz.

Anfang 2006 entstand eine neue Reihe im Co-Verlag mit dem IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique), mit der Absicht, der aktiven Verbreitung von wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten über nationale und internationale Klangkunst Hilfestellung zu leisten.

Betont wurde im Jahr 2006 in verschiedenen Reihen auch die Veröffentlichung von pädagogisch wertvollen Werken, was die editoriale Ausgewogenheit des Musikangebots komplettierte.

Created on the initiative of a musician in September 2003, DELATOUR FRANCE is an independent publishing company that enjoys privileged relations with authors, composers, musicians and illustrators.

In four years, we have developed a wide range, with a catalogue of more than 1,500 works of musical and general literature, sheet music, course books, records and multimedia.

Influential people from the world of music have supported the company since the start, including Piotr Moss, André Isoir, Louis-Noël Belaubre, Jacques Bondon, Jean-Jacques Werner, Noël Lee, Anthony Girard, Lionel Rogg and Jean-Claude Baertsoen, and today other talented authors have joined this list, including Jean-Philippe Bec, Nicolas Bacri, Serge Delaite and Jean-Marc Lajudie, Marie-Claire and Olivier Alain, Gilles Silvestrini, Pierre Pincemaille, Didier Renouvin, Isabelle Aboulker and David Dupire.

Although principally committed to promoting contemporary works, DELATOUR FRANCE is also keen to showcase our national and international artistic heritage. Assisted in this task by the work and enthusiasm of the directors of the collections, we have brought to publication a number of forgotten or previously unpublished works (Jeanne Demessieux, Joseph-Ermend Bonnal, Ferdinand Hiller and Charles Gounod, etc.).

To meet the growing demand of the younger audience and satisfy the world market, the majority of our publications are also commercialised as legal downloads on our website, at attractive prices.

To facilitate access to original works, DELATOUR FRANCE encourages composers and performers by attaching an audio or video recording to written publications whenever possible. An audiovisual production department was created in 2005 to support this approach.

A new collection of works jointly published with IRCAM (Centre for musical research at the Pompidou centre) appeared at the beginning of 2006, to support and assist the active distribution of scientific works relating to national and international acoustic arts.

In 2006 we also emphasised the publication of educational or instructional works through various collections, completing the editorial balance of the music line.
