“AMUSETTE, AH MUSETTE ! ” is a swing waltz composed first for accordion, and arranged here for saxophone quartet (soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones). This piece starts with an opening interlude regularly repeated. The ABAC theme is followed by written “choruses”, running from 8 to 8 bars, so that each musician can play a solo part. A tutti “stop chorus” precede the last exposition of the theme.
