6 duets for 2 trombones

Those six duets, or rather five and a half, the fifth sounding more like a « jingle », have been written in 2009 for the second cycle students, in order to to embellish various students auditions and concerts in the school where I am teaching.

With a very classical form and writing, they don’t ask a very high technic and are very accessible.

Only the third one « on the ice » is a descriptive play, describing the evolutions, sometimes risky, of the young ice-skaters. This duet involves the good command of the seven positions.

The fifth one « Enigma » is a very short play sounding like an interrogation, like a question without answer. Its shortness gives it the jingle rôle in a students concert.
