Following the musical circles of Lauragais, Christian ESCAFFRE born January 6, 1962 in Revel began his musical career from his 13 years at the National Conservatory of Toulouse in class trumpet and music education. His 18 years of age, he continued his studies in the capital.

A volunteer in the Music of the 8th Regional RT Mont Valerien, he entered the National Conservatory of the city of Paris for a three-year cycle. At the same time, he plays in various formations in the Paris region: its repertoire ranges from classical to jazz. In the same period, recruited by the Federation Cultural and Sportive de France he practices the teachings of the trumpet.

In 1985 he arrived to the Company or Prince's Guard he joined the Band and conducts studies on writing music. His class is common knowledge in the entourage of Prince Rainier. In 1991 he was admitted to the SACEM as a composer and arranger.

In 1995 he became deputy head of music and began studies at the conservatory of music director of the military band Army of Versailles where he will graduate four years later.

In 2004 he was appointed to head the band for which he composed and arranged at special events in the principality.

In 2010 he was appointed by Prince Albert II, Knight of the Order of Cultural Merit.
