Paulo da Fontoura is a guitarist and a composer. Born in 1971 in Santa Valha (Portugal), he did not show any particular interest for music until the age of 16. In 1988, encouraged by Francisco Doutel, he took with him his first guitar lesson with much enthusiasm, and this is how his passion for the instrument began. From 1995 till nowadays, he has been performing a lot, in solo, duet, trio and quartet, in the French-speaking Switzerland, in Tessin, and in Portugal. During those years, he also dedicated himself to the teaching of guitar.
