Henri-Pierre Juguet was born in 1954. He is mostly a self taught man. He started as a drummer in a rock band then learnt the violin, the recorder, early Music, analysis and composition (with Yves Claoué in Angoulême). He currently teaches the recorder and early Music at the Conservatoire of Niort. He tries to incorporate all the previous composition techniques in his Music. He can use a « near tonal », as well as atonal language and even avant garde techniques. Besides Music, he is also a painter and a writer.
