Béatrice Marchal teaches French litterature in Paris. She has written a Ph.D on the poetical works of Cécile Sauvage and she is the author of La Poésie française depuis Baudelaire (Dunod, Paris 1999) and of a collection of poems entitled Tant va le regard (La Porte, 2007).
