About author : PUCCI Alain

Born in 1956, Alain Pucci began his musical studies in Nice and completed a degree, with three first prizes - Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue, at the Conservatoire Supérieur in Paris. 

He currently teaches three levels of musical analysis as well as music history at an Ecole Nationale de Musique near Paris.  Various repertoires captivate his interest:  sacred music of the Renaissance, Berlioz, Wagner, Sibelius, Varèse...  

His approach to an analytical project involves starting with the technical aspects of a piece of music to arrive at an investigation of the repercussions of the work on the level of the philosophy of art.
