About author : VERCHER Claude
Claude Vercher was born in 1955. While studying the clarinet and the music composition, he joined a school of architecture (another face of a space setting). Then, he learned choral conducting in France as well as in England. His first music scores were intended for a theatre and dance company and several choirs.
Deeply involved in the choral world and vocal practises, he tutors training sessions and is in demand for choir or repertory meetings. His compositions include sacred and secular musics, popular musics arrangements and songs for children voices.
Very concerned by jazz, he has adapted Barbershop and Close harmony songs. Claude Vercher has received several awards for his music and his works are performed in countries such as Mexico, Slovenia, France or Portugal.
