After completing university and music degrees in Toulouse he then went for advanced training with pianist André Gorog. During masterclasses with noted masters François-René Dûchable, Paul Badura Skoda and Annie d'Arco he collected valuable advice. He was named lyric coach of the Limoges Opera and presents recitals in France and also abroad. He also works as a composer and orchestrator, having composed music for numerous films, theatrical presentations, and television. Mr. Basque teaches piano in conservatories in and around Paris. His strong interest in pedagogy led him to produce teaching works published by Combre and Delatour France. In 2008 he founded, developed, and directed the Kcollection Project at Delatour France.
