Serge Delaite  has been playing since he was seven.

He studied the piano in Paris under the surpervision of Pierre Spiers in 1970 and harmony with the renowned classical maestro Julien Falk in 1972. Serge’s creativity helped him take a step from variety and into Jazz music with the inspiration of Hank Jones, his idol.

From 1980, a long series of concerts and records begins in compagny of Charles Bellonzi, Michel Gaudry, the Tony Petrucciani Trio, the Michel Devillers quartet, the Gerard Badini quartet, the Guy Lafitte quartet, Turk Mauro and Michelle Hendriks, George Mraz, Philip Catherine, Dany Doriz, Daniel Huck, J.M. Lajudie, the Prima Vista quatuor, Jacky Samson (present for a whole year at the Meurice Hotel in Paris)....

His musical adventures led him around the world ( USA, Japan, Holland, Sweden, England, Austria, Spain, Hungary, etc.).
