Georges Bessonnet won the first prize of the Conservatoire National de Région in Versailles and the first prize for organ and fugue in CNSM of Paris. . He gives numerous concerts as a solist all over France as well in the whole world and has participated in numerous festivals. He has also been rewarded when participating in International Competitions for his own musical compositions which include numerous works for voices and instruments, notably for the brass (Editions Billaudot), to which can be added pieces for choir and orchestra. He is now organist of the Great Organ and musical director of the Choir in Antony.
