Anne Guinaud initiates her musical studies at the Asnières Conservatory, obtaining the Honour Prize in piano. Similarly she studies harmony and counterpoint at the National Conservatory in Paris. Here, beginning in 1992, an early passion for singing leads her to follow the soprano classes of Jane Berbié then Isabelle Guillaud, thereafter obtaining the Superior Diploma. Currently she continues postgraduate studying under Romanian soprano Aneta Pavalache. She participated in a number of master classes with – among others – Gérard Souzay, Kurt Moll and Christa Ludwig.

A soloist career began early on focuses on the opera repertoire. At the Cité de la Musique in Paris she performs Princess Nicoletta in Prokofiev’s Three Orange Opera , under conductor Scott Sandmeier and director Andrei Serban. At the Ménilmontant Theatre she performs Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

Also interested in operetta, she is frequently invited to perform the major characters of Offenbach’s works. Her other favourite repertoire is oratorio.

Under conductor Jos Van Veldhoven, she is remarked in Bach’s St John Passion. She then continues in Pergolese’s Stabat Mater, Bach’s Cantata BWV 209 and Christmas Oratorio, Charpentier’s Te Deum, Haydn’s The Creation and Harmony Mass and Mozart’s Missa Solemnis.

She performs with such ensembles as Sequenza 9.3 under Catherine Simonpietri, Les Eléments under Joël Suhubiette, as well as Mille e Tre. Attracted by other forms of music, she has toured France four years running with pianist Paul Staïcu in “Gershwin Rhapsody”.
