About author : BONARDI Alain

Alain Bonardi is an artist as well a researcher. Parallel to an engineer training in the Ecole Polytechnique, he has studied musical composition with Emmanuel Nunes, Michel Philippot and Hacène Larbi. He was a prizewinner of the Oslo composition competition in 1996.

His creations in the field of opera deal with musical composition (digital opera in an open form Alma Sola, chamber opera Du/Tri-plicata – grant from the Beaumarchais Association), as well as digital scenography (virtual scenography of Norma by Bellini) or the association of artificial intelligence with stage arts (theatre plays La Traversée de la nuit by Geneviève de Gaulle-Anthonioz, Sur la lecture by Proust). Alain Bonardi is a senior lecturer at Paris 8 University.

He regularly collaborates with Ircam.
