PAULET Vincent

After beginning his musical studies in Reims, where he was born in 1962, Vincent PAULET attended the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris where he studied with Jean-Claude Raynaud (harmony), Jean-Claude Henry (counterpoint), Michel Merlet (fugue), Serge Nigg (orchestration), and Claude Ballif (analysis); winning first prize in each of these disciplines.

His training as organist (in the class of Gaston Litaize at the Conservatoire National de Région in Saint-Maur) led him towards concertizing which he finally stopped in 1994 so that he could focus more on composition. Composer in residence at the Renaissance Theater of Oullins (Rhône region), at the “Bel Image” in Valence and then at the Casa de Velazquez in Spain from 1994 to 1996, he teaches harmony and composition at the Conservatoire National de Région in Lille.
