VILLEVIEILLE Claude

Passionately involved with chamber music, Claude Villevieille in 1976 is a cofounder of the OZI wind trio with which he plays numerous concert circuits, seasons and prominent festivals in France, Europe and indeed the world (almost 40 countries).

Radio and television shows, master classes, first performances and various recordings feature the group’s activities.

An oboe educator in Île de France since the beginning of the 80s, in 1994 he creates “The Oboe Gang” along with a number of his elder students who assume responsibility for the ensemble’s activities by means of the bémols Perplexes fellowship.

His inquisitiveness and subsequent findings allow him to propose original programs within associated ensembles such as the Canaletto Quintet, the Vivere Trio, the Michæl Quartet and the "Mr. Croche & Compagnie" octet. Claude Villevieille has played F. Lorée instruments for over 25 years.
