Born in 1979, Salvatore Gioveni entered the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Mons and the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels. He earned 5 first prize diplomas in solfeggio, organ, written and practical harmony, the final diploma for musical analysis, 3 pedagogy diplomas (Harmony, Organ, solfeggio) and a Master Grade in Counterpoint/Fugue. Since 2007, he teaches both written harmony and analysis at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where he’s also the Team Teacher’s President.

An experienced basso continuo and organ player, he has participated regularly in various ensembles on both harpsichord and organ in international festivals For 10 years, he has been the organist at the Royal Parish of Saint Jacques-sur-Coudenberg and actually at the Madeleine church in Brussels. He’s also Webmaster.
