CHEVEREAU Nicolas

 

Nicolas Chevereau was born in Paris in 1989. He studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt and then at the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne where he was awarded a first Prize in piano and chamber music, the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien and the Diplôme d’État de professeur de piano. Also a graduate of the Schola Cantorum and the Université Paris-Sorbonne, he completed his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the class of vocal accompaniment of Anne Le Bozec as well as with Aldo Ciccolini who since has supervised his artistic development.

He became over the years the partner of many singers and won several awards, including the Prix de la Sacem at the 9th Concours International de Musique de Chambre de Lyon and the Melody Prize at the 7th Concours international de chant-piano Nadia et Lili Boulanger with soprano Clémentine Decouture. He is a regular guest on various festivals and radio programs. He has composed works for organ, clarinet, voice, piano, string quartet and orchestra.

In 2014 he won the first prize of composition at the international contest Leopold Bellan.
