GANDRILLE Jean-Charles


Jean-Charles Gandrille, born in 1982 is a composer and organist. He trained at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, where he won six awards. His meetings with Jean-Louis Florentz and Thierry Escaich, marked him deeply, both encouraged him to continue writing. He also does not hide his admiration for Arvo Pärt and its accessibility.
    Her works have been performed by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and in recent years by the Choir of Notre Dame de Paris, both during the liturgy and in concert. Jean-Charles Gandrille studied one year theology at the Catholic Institute of Paris. He is the organist of the church Notre-Dame d'Auvers-sur-Oise.
