MUTO Giordano

Giordano Muto was born in Locarno (Switzerland) in 1977. After graduating as a saxophone teacher and concert performer with Jean-Georges Koerper at the Zurich Conservatory of Music with honors, he participated in seminars on conducting and arranging with Franco Cesarini and deepened his knowledge of jazz with Christoph Grab and Nat Su. He continued his studies with Arno Bornkamp (Amsterdam), Eugène Rousseau (Minnesota) and Claude Delangle (Paris).

Giordano Muto has played with the Orchestra fiati svizzera italiana (OFSI), the Swiss Army Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine (ONBA), the Ensemble de cuivres jurassien, the Ensemble vocale Evoca. He coaches the saxophonists of the national youth band in Switzerland, he founds an orchestra of young beginners with the aim of promoting the rights of the child in synergy with the association "Franca" in Bellinzona. He performs with "Riflessi d'epoca", "Viaggio in Italia", "Belli in zona", "Sax tape", "Rendezvous", "Krazolta" and he is co-author of a musical account extracted from the novel "Land of snow" by Yasunari Kawabata.

He lives in Gironde where he is currently a saxophone teacher, composer and conductor.
