Maïté Louis works regularly as a soloist with the conductors Marc Minkowski, Donatus Katkus, Nicolas Brochot and Jean-Christophe Keck, and with great musicians such as Ivry Gitlis, Patrice Fontanarosa, Marie-Annick Nicolas and Jacques Charpentier.

She is regularly invited as a soloist by a number of orchestras in France and abroad.

As a result of her interest in contemporary music she has worked with major French composers such as Graciane Finzi and Philippe Hersant. She also performs with the “Les Inachevés” theatre company directed by Moïse Touré, the “Les Voisins du Dessous” theatre company directed by Pascale Henry, the Jean-Claude Gallotta dance company, the actors Manuel Lelièvre and Isabelle Carré and musicians such as Olivia Ruiz, Maurice Baquet and Gilles Servat. She is part of the Irish traditional music trio IRISH KIND OF, with whom she performs in France and abroad.

The Lalive Foundation and the French Instrumental Collection have done her the honour of lending her two magnificent instruments with which she has performed for many years.

She currently uses a modern violin made by the instrument maker Pierre Caudal and an Italian violin made in 1777 by Jacobus Horil.
