About author : PINEDA Ester

Ester Pineda is a pianist and piano teacher at the Conservatoire Jean-Philippe Rameau of the City of Paris. In parallel with her artistic career, she graduated from a Master in Transmission, Pedagogy and Cultural Mediation. Her involvement in pedagogy led her to invest in doctoral research in neuropsychology of music interested in the meanders of brain activity in musical practice. Her research focuses on the importance of identifying and analyzing cognitive processes related to inner hearing in order to show how this knowledge could optimize certain teaching-learning situations.
