SCRIABINE Alexandre

Alexander is a Russian pianist and composer born in Moscow on December 25, 1871 and died in Moscow on April 14, 1915. Singular personality by the flamboyant symbolism of his musical language and atypical by the refusal of any reference to the national folklore, it is nonetheless a remarkable composer of Russian music of the late nineteenth century. Long misunderstood by critics and the public, this mystic of ecstasy influenced by theosophy and synesthesia leaves a deeply original work from which stand out its imposing corpus.
