RATTINI Bruno

Introduced to music by his father Stefano (concertist, organist of the Cathedral of Trento), Bruno Rattini won the First Prize of both the conservatories of Trento and Vicenza (with F. Rigobello, E. Bellotti, R. Antonello, E. Zanovello) and obtained a master's degree in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris (CNSMDP) in the classes taught by Y. Henry, P. Pincemaille and T. Escaich. He also excelled in the art of keyboard improvisation with a First Prize from the Saint-Maur Conservatory, in the class taught by P. Pincemaille. Very keen on poetry, he completed a master's degree of research in Modern Literature at the Bordeaux Montaigne University. Enabled to teach in French conservatories through a master's degree from the CNSMDL, since 2018 Rattini has been in charge of the écriture musicale course at the Conservatory of Bordeaux. He designed the course by strengthening the links between the different composition classes. In high demand by establishments providing higher education, Rattini is also teaching in the department of music and musicology at the Bordeaux Montaigne University. Building bridges between different aesthetics in music and other artistic practices (poetry, dance, visual arts) is a concern that is at the center of his research. A self-taught jazzman, some of his compositions have been published and recorded.
