PASCULLI Antonio

Oboe virtuoso, born in 1842, Antonio Pasculli gave many concerts for wind instruments, very popular in Italy at that time.

His program was always linked to the opera. He made a large number of transcriptions for the oboe (fantasias) on the themes of some operas by Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti, Gioachino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi.

Antonio Pasculli died in Palermo in 1924.
