Nicolas-Charles BOCHSA (1789-1856) was one of the most famous harpists of the 19th century, especially in France, England and the United States. Without forgetting Mexico. Also a composer, impresario, forger, great traveler, his life is a series of romantic adventures.

In the form of a diary, you will find in this second book the maestro and his companion, the singer Anna Bishop, in their Mexican wanderings. The author was inspired by an unsigned book published in 1849 in the United States, which gives a detailed account of the daily life of these two musical stars during their stay in Mexico.

Singing and playing the harp in the towns and villages of this country in 1850 required a certain amount of courage or recklessness.
