« Le Jardin des oliviers » ["The Agony in the Garden"] is an extract from the Vingt Mystères du Rosaire [Twenty Mysteries of the Rosary] op. 10 by Eric Lebrun, for violin, cello, harp and organ. It is a substantial work for solo cello, which can easily hold its own independently of the rest of the cycle. They are preludes of an intensely poetic character, and can be played independently of the rest of the cycle, as a piece of chamber music.
