The "Requiem for all the deceased" was commissioned for choir and small orchestra. The orchestra can be replaced by an organ, and the two can join. It is a series of topics on some important texts of the requiem. They are linked together naturally, seamlessly united as the Holy Shroud. Written in a style pandiatonic with church modes, this piece is structured so tonal, and sounds both neo-classical and modern, like little songs. The voices are sometimes written on the edge of their range, they can be separated into two groups.
