Alice's Delights were written at Christmas 2010 for a little ten years old girl, who had been studying clarinet for three years. The clarinet plays the melody as a kind of song around a minor third (E flat-F-G flat), which will be used as a canon with the piano. The central part is a repetition of the melody with a contrary movement, accompanied by the piano in an harmonic fashion. Then only the piano plays the canon by contrary movement between both hands. At the end, the clarinet plays an ascending sixth (G natural-E flat) and his inversion (E flat-G flat) in the acute medium register, before concluding in the low register by the minor starting third.
