« Archelogos» is a series of pieces for solo voice or instrument and recorded sounds. This series is based on recordings made during archeological diggings near the Pyrenees, mountains in the South of France. « Archèlogos II » for bass flute and recorded sounds was commissioned by the Festival Son MiRé in Fabrezan (France) and is dedicated to André Dion, its Artistic Director. In this work, the sounds noises were gathered on excavations in Termes Castle (Pyrenees Orientales) managed by the archaeologist David Maso.
