This book is not a guitar method in the strict sense of the word, but aims to help guitarists - or apprentice-guitarists - understand the musical system and link writing and theory (solfeggio) to instrumental practice.
Recordings are provided to show you the musical "rendering" at the metronomic speed indicated at the start of each exercise variant.
The book concludes with a presentation of the modal system, illustrated by a 12-bar Blues example, and a jazz theme followed by 2 variations to illustrate how to build an improvisation on the "grid" (of the theme).
