During the piano learning years, JS BACH's inventions are an essential step, as well in a technical way as in a musical one. I thought this might be the same importance during guitar's apprenticeship.
The original tonalities have been kept each time it was possible - original tonality is given at the beginning of the piece when a transposition was necessary - and some changes in the octavation to be faithful with the genuine text. You will also find propositions for ornaments, played on 2 strings - like a harpsichord effect.
