« Archèlogos » is a series of pieces for solo voice or instrument and recorded sounds. This series is based on recordings made during archaeological diggings near the Pyrenees, mountains in the south of France. « Archèlogos IIb » for Martenot waves and recorded sounds was composed in 2007 and is dedicated to Nadia Ratsimandresy. In this work, premiered in Colombes (France) during a concert given by the Trio 3D, the sounds were gathered on excavations in Termes castle (Aude) managed by the archaeologist David Maso.
