« En Quête » was first created for a photographic exhibition by Guy Bompais, which features a lonesome figure whose thoughts are expressed by excerpts of poems by Jean-Pierre Rosnay, from his collection Fragments et reliefs. Then, Sophie Lacaze wrote a new version of her work for the concert, for mezzo-soprano, narrator, alto saxophone and piano. It is this version that is presented here. « En Quête » is dedicated to Jean-Pierre and Marcelle Rosnay..
