Two different aspects can be found in this work for string orchestra. First of all, a strong poetic and expressive intention is here present, and even predominant. But educational intentions were also determining during the composition : the relative simplicity of the instrumental, rhythmical and polyphonic writing being suited to the abilities of a youth orchestra. So these « Night Resonances » may be a good initiation for young players to the world of contemporary music.
