E-SCORE PDF VERSION
The compositions of Michel Estellet-Brun are unusual and distinctives. For the most part, his works are transcriptions of improvisations which have taken place in front of an audience. His musical language is very personal and passionate, refusing to follow any school or fashion of its time, but, instead, is based in the Romantic tradition. The characteristic spontaneity of improvisation gives his works a natural, sincere quality, in spite of their tight structures.
