Composed on the famous J.S. Bach's theme from the cantata “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme”,“Turning Bach” is one of few jazz pieces written for organ. Its interpretation, ideal on a jazz organ (B3 Hammond organ with Leslie cabinet), is nevertheless perfectly feasible on a pipe organ. So, classical organists will have the opportunity to practice jazz on their instrument.
