In 2013, I set to music for the first time the text of the Magnificat, poem recited by the Virgin Mary in the episode of the Visitation, in the Gospel of Luke. «Song of Mary» is the name given to this episode, in the monasteries. This score is written for a small staff and treats the text in a very intimate way. Later, in 2015, I wanted to set i music this magnificent prayer again: my Magnificat op.50, command of Sacred Music at Notre Dame de Paris and given in the cathedral of Paris on June 7, 2016. This is a more developed, with a larger staff: Mixed Choir, Children’s Choir and Grand-Orgue. The score is also published by Delatour France (DLT2795).
