The Berceuse pour une enfant qui s’est endormie was composed in memory of a friend of the composer, who died too soon. This is one of the first written work of Paul Sterne, resulting actually an improvisation on the Great Organ of the Gap Cathedral. Written in 1997, on the classic words of the lullaby, one feels the influence of Louis Vierne.
