Among the songs preserved in the Vermeil Book of Montserrat, which in our time have given rise to multiple interpretations in the form of vocal or instrumental glosses by early music ensembles, I have chosen to reinvest the Cuncti simus concanentes in a contemporary manner. This piece was composed following a first set written on the Stella splendens in monte. In these two cycles, I attempted to extract from the medieval melodic material both variations and evocations that leave, for the most part, the original hymn at the forefront of the listener's attention.

Written in 2018, this piece on the theme of the Annunciation is very explicitly inspired by the classical French suite of the 17th and 18th centuries. The work is presented in the form of a cycle divided into eight parts. If it is, therefore, sequenced in well-defined sonic ranges in terms of registrations, it must nevertheless be thought of as a single entity, each phase ideally following in the resonance of the previous one.
