This musical piece is dedicated to M. Chacun and to J. Doyen for their teaching on Claude Debussy tones.
It expresses the sounds and warbling heard in a cold, sad and misty atmosphere of a snow-covered morning. Its tempo is slow the piece remains hard to perform because of its four different sound plans, sounds distant from each other, and the striking up are different which enable to follow the story and the feelings of the composer.
This piece has a lot of sound colours and its rhythm can be difficult but it requires to be listening to the piano, its vibrations are fundamentals in order to create the special wintry atmosphere. This text will guide the performer.
