Disguised shapes, echoes, seem to surface here and there throughout this etude for saxophone, twisted and turned by the whim of swaying polarities. The hierarchy unsteady from pitches flutters in successive waves, offering even more with gesture and dynamics to sound out depths. These parameters take shape in the idea of respiration, breathing life into multiple lines creating the skeleton of the piece. As a consequence, the music student is led to look for a clever control of these components in the art of being the embodiment of expression. And this is in an expanded time that the art of music enables very well, that the performer can outline this scenery or in an ideal world, incarnate himself, in this universe covered by subtle and almost spectral details.
