These Six studies were originally written for oboe. They are inspired by Impressionist paintings and highlight the virtuosity of the instrument. The proximity between oboe and saxophone (register, expressiveness) inspired me this adaptation, which I hope will interest instrumentalists for fantasy and the colors they require..
