Orded in 2003, Facettes is the exemple of the collaboration between Claire VAZART and the Hora Cero quintet. This piece preserves the nostalgia, melodious and rhythmical aspects so particular to tangos, representative of what the quintet plays. Furthermore, Claire VAZART plays with timbres, grains, and definitely contemporary sound material.
The architecture of this piece, built like an arch around a guitar solo, and like a game of mirrors, shows all the different aspects of the same theme, thus creating a whole world of sound both personnal and original.
