Past (re)composed - Progressive studies for guitar

Here, gathered in this collection, is a series of studies that I have composed for my students throughout my life as a guitar teacher. Some are composed with a nod to composers well known to guitarists (Fernando... majeur, le gai Labrouwer, un vieil air pour John Renbourn), in others, one can recognize various styles (Gwendoline, Petite valse, Insouciance) even an indian influence in la Voix du coeur. Most of them are but written in a style which I hope is personal to me, with the aim of providing pieces which do not use the most frequent patterns you meet in the classical guitar studies. I always seemed to me that the role, for a music teacher, is not only to pass on an instrumental technique, but also, and especially to train students to hear and feel the life and expression found in each work, to become someone would should be able to express his inner self when he plays the instrument close to his heart. I hope you will have pleasure by playing these studies and that they will become a part of the pieces you meet when discovering music.
