This score written for viola and piano is dedicated to Magali Demesse, viola solo at the Philharmonic Orchestra, Marseille’s opera.
The particularity is a score on a C pedal-note played by the piano. The rhythmical tremolo associated with the melodic phrase allow for the two instruments to create a lascivious and sensual atmosphere, with sometimes painful emotions in some parts. The last phrase, Major mode, contrasts with the minor mode of the whole score.
The interpretation stays rather difficult to expression and sensibility that will be discerned and felt by the listener.
