These variations were created by David Galoustov on the violin and the author on the organ, during a concert given at Batz-sur-Mer in 2015, the year the play was written. On a very simple sequence of chords, the violin is alternately singing by its beautiful phrases or biting with its four-strings, over the immutable organ frame. The work ends with a powerful lyricism of the violin, in peroration.
