CAPRICE FOR VIOLIN begins with a cadence, which is played by the violin only. This first part is full of energy and invites the violinist to express himself with verve. There are a lot of double strings all cadence long. After this bravery moment, the duet finally begins! During the second changing part, the keyboard and the violin continually exchange the themes, go from an atmosphere to an other one, modulate, accelerate, slow down, get annoyed, calm down... In short they are very talkative, roguish and capricious! They do what they want to do and impose us their mood swing.
This piece, which was imagined in 2003, was created December 6, 2003 at the church of Voulx (Seine-et-Marne) and is recorded on the album « Carnet de notes » of NONAME music band. „Caprice for violin“ follows the first piece : “Serenade for violin”. The two pieces can be played one after the other, without order.
