La molièra qu’a nau escuts - (Nine crowns has the miller's wife)
This dance song is part of the rich legacy of traditional Occitan music, belonging to the Roman language area that covers 32 French départements, the Val d'Aran in Spain and some of the high Italian Alpine valleys. Adapted and developed by Bruno Rossignol, "La molièra qu’a nau escuts" becomes a little concert piece both tender and melancholic, for the first years of violin.
